The Craiglockhart Parent and Carer Council have launched our Craiglockhart Primary WhatsApp Community to help keep you up to date with everything that’s going on.
The Community is for all parents and carers of students at Craiglockhart Primary School. Joining our Community is entirely optional – any official communications from the school will come via email or SMS. This is our online version of the school yard at drop off.
How does it work?
WhatsApp communities work in a similar way to the chat groups you’re used to. The main difference is that with the Community you’ll be able to find and join (or leave) any of the school-related groups easily. This gives us scope to add a few more groups that make more sense across the whole school community instead of just within a year group, such as a Lost and Found group. By separating some of these conversations into their own groups we can reduce the noise level in the year level groups to just the most useful information. All of the groups within the community will be prefixed with “CPS – ” so that you can tell in your chat feed that they’re part of the community.
