The Craiglockhart Parent and Carer Council (CPaCC) annual general meeting (AGM) is coming up next Wednesday (17th Sept) 7- 8.30pm at the school. There will be childcare available free of charge for anyone that needs it,
The CPaCC plays an important role in supporting the school and making sure parent’s views are heard. We also fundraise for things to improve the school, most recently we have bought new smartboards, PE equipment, baking equipment and the playground’s trim trail.
The CPACC represents all parents at Craiglockhart and we want to make sure that we do that properly. This AGM we are inviting class reps to join the council and we would ideally like to have every class represented. It is not a big commitment, you would need to attend 5 meetings a year (2 in person). You would also join a whatsapp group where we would make CPACC decisions on topics such as road safety, communications and how to spend fundraising. We will vote on new members at the AGM next week.
The posts of Chair, Vice-Chair, Head of Events, Treasurer, Secretary and ASN reps are also open and will be voted on at the AGM.
