Heavy Goods Vehicles

A motion has been passed by the council to restrict the use of HGV but, it’s still happening on a regular basis! Visability and parking issues are bad enough without this happening, so we have asked when this policy will be implemented. 

Speeding

We had asked if it would be possible to get vehicle activated signage that would alert drivers to their speed. Initially it was a possibility but they then back-tracked and said that apparently speed is not enough of a problem to justify it. That’s said, the council have agreed to survey speeds at Craiglockhart on the next round, to see if it could be a potential solution.

There is still a lot of work to be done, to make the journey to and from school, as safe as possible for our children and progress is slower than we’d like – but you can help and here’s how:
